Do I need to enter a credit card to try Magic Hour?

No, Magic Hour's Free plan allows you to try our basic features for free. If you'd like to use features not included in the Free plan, or get more frames after you've run out, you can upgrade to a paid plan or purchase more frames.

How do I remove watermarks?

You can remove watermarks by purchasing a subscription or frame pack.

What are frames?

Frames are your currency on Magic Hour. They're deducted from your balance as you create images and videos.

In general, one frame is equivalent to one image in a video.

We chose this name because it makes thinking about usage easier. For example, you know that longer videos and higher FPS (frames per seconds) means more frames.

For most modes, we charge one frame per frame in your video or image.

For some modes, we charge more because they're more computationally expensive.

When you're creating an image or video, we will always tell you exactly how many frames the generation will cost before you click render.

How do I get more frames?

As a free user, you get an initial one-time 400 frames. Each day you visit the Create page, you can also claim an additional 100 free frames regardless of your plan.

As a paid subscriber, you receive a monthly frame allowance that gives you wider flexibility to use Magic Hour's premium features at your own pace. Importantly, these frames replenish at the beginning of each billing period and will never expire, so you can always save them for when your usage needs increase.

What happens if I run out of frames in my paid plan?

When you run out of frames, you have three options:

  • You can wait for your next billing cycle to start. You can see when your next billing cycle starts in Next Invoice in My Plan.
  • You can purchase frame packs, which are one-time frame purchases in Pricing. This allows you to "top up" your plan whenever you run out.
  • You can start a new plan. If you switch from a monthly plan to an annual plan or vice-versa, the plan will start immediately. If you switch from a monthly plan to a different monthly plan or an annual plan to a different annual plan, your plan will start at the end of your billing cycle. However, if you want to start it immediately, you can click Upgrade Now in My Plan.

Do frames roll over to the next month?

Yes, any unused frames in your balance will roll over to the next month, with no expiration. They are yours forever.

What happens to my frames if I downgrade my plan?

If you downgrade your plan, you will keep all the frames you have, but your monthly allowance will adjust to your new plan's limit at the start of your next billing cycle.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can easily cancel your subscription any time in your My Plan page. After canceling, your subscription will end at the end of your billing cycle, and you will not be charged again.

Do I own the assets I create?

Yes, you retain full ownership, copyright, and other intellectual property rights of all the assets that you generate.

Are my generations private?

Yes, your generations are private from other users and Magic Hour. We will never access any of your assets without your explicit permission. You have the option to delete the generated asset after completion from our system. Make sure to download it first if you'd like to keep it, as it's deleted forever.

Assets that you upload to our platform, including images, audio, and videos are also private and are deleted within one week.

Can I get a refund?

If you purchased a subscription and aren't happy, we can offer you a refund if you've only created one video. Otherwise, all services are non-refundable. If you have an issue with the product, please contact us in live chat or email us at support@magichour.ai, and we'd be happy to help you find a solution.

Does the pricing include tax?

Pricing excludes tax. If we legally need to collect tax, it will be added at the point of payment with Stripe. If we do not currently charge tax in your country or region, and in the future need to, then this will be added to your recurring bill at that time.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards and debit cards worldwide, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, and China UnionPay.

We accept other payment options depending on your country and region, including:

  • Wallets: Apple Pay, Cash App Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Link, Alipay, WeChat Pay
  • Bank Redirects: Bancontact, EPS, giropay, iDEAL, Prszelewy24
  • Buy Now, Pay Later: Affirm, Afterpay/Clearpay, Klarna

We do not accept PayPal or cryptocurrency.

Can I use my plan for API access?

Yes, we offer API access for all users, with the same features and usage levels in your plan. Check out our API Documentation to learn more. If you need any help with implementation or have questions, please reach out to us on live chat or email us at support@magichour.ai. Our team is happy to assist you with your specific needs.

What support is included with my subscription?

All users have access to email and live chat support. Paid subscribers get priority support. We aim to respond within 3 hours to paid users during the day, and all support requests within 24 hours. We're based in Pacific Time, so if we don't respond in a reasonable amount of time, we might be sleeping, so please give us some patience until we wake up.

Do you offer enterprise pricing or plans for teams?
